New to pottery or looking to strengthen your foundation at the wheel? Getting Started with Rebekah is the perfect introduction to wheel throwing and working with clay in a focused, supportive environment.

In this beginner-friendly class, students will learn the fundamentals of throwing, trimming, and glazing, while gaining a solid understanding of how clay behaves on the wheel. With plenty of hands-on instruction, you’ll build confidence and skill through guided practice and repetition.

More experienced beginners and early intermediate potters are also welcome—this class is a great space to sharpen technique, develop consistency, and explore new forms.

Come get your hands muddy and discover the joy of wheel throwing!

Class days: Mondays 11-2pm

Class dates: March 9, 16, 23, 30, April 13, 20, 27, May 4. Easter Monday, no class.

Note:

  • All classes need to run with a minimum of 50% enrollment and may be cancelled due to low enrollment numbers. If a class is cancelled, you will be reimbursed your class fees.
  • There will be no refunds, unless the class is cancelled.
  • If an Instructor cancels a class session (e.g., due to illness or emergency), the Instructor will schedule a make-up session at a mutually agreed-upon time.
  • All class registrations include one bag of M340 clay.
